SWE Magazine, the official magazine of the Society of Women Engineers (ISSN 1070-6232), a not-for-profit educational and service organization founded in 1950, is published five times per year. SWE Magazine supports the organizations mission to: stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders; expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life; and demonstrate the value of diversity.
Compelling content informs and empowers a multidisciplinary technical audience. SWE Magazine offers a broader, humanistic perspective that situates the engineering profession and the contributions and status of women engineers in a larger context that is both historical and contemporary, providing a springboard for individual growth and impacting the profession.
